When Christmas passes in Japan, it becomes very busy for preparation for the beginning of the new year.At New Year holidays, we prepare a thing called New Year dishes called "Osechi"and eat.There is a meaning in all cooking in Osechi.The people who buy Osechi at the food counter, a department store and an Internet mail order increased recently.
There are lot of kinds appear such as Chinese food , Western-style, and the New Year dishes of typical Japanese style and made of famous hotels and the famous restaurant...etc.It is one of the pleasure to choose.
In the morning of New Year's Day, we celebrate the New Year with Japanese sake and New Year dishes and rice cake food.
And we go to a Shinto shrine nearby or the temple for prayer new year.
