When Christmas passes in Japan, it becomes very busy for preparation for the beginning of the new year.At New Year holidays, we prepare a thing called New Year dishes called "Osechi"and eat.There is a meaning in all cooking in Osechi.
The people who buy Osechi at the food counter, a department store and an Internet mail order increased recently.
There are lot of kinds appear such as Chinese food , Western-style, and the New Year dishes of typical Japanese style and made of famous hotels and the famous restaurant...etc.It is one of the pleasure to choose.
In the morning of New Year's Day, we celebrate the New Year with Japanese sake and New Year dishes and rice cake food.
And we go to a Shinto shrine nearby or the temple for prayer new year.

Automatic KIOSK

There is a stand called KIOSK at the station of the Japanese train.
A newspaper, a magazine, juice, a sweet, others goods...etc,lots of articles are sold in the small space, and there is the woman of the salesperson.
The places that this KIOSK automated increased recently.
There seems to be the vending machine of the pocket edition at some JR Station.
It is be popular, and a lot of women of 20 generations - 30 generations seem to buy it.
It is able to select to attach a cover to the book.
There seem to be quite various kinds of vending machines in a home of a train.
A sweet, a newspaper, natural yeast Bakery, an umbrella, canned food of the bread, gum,
totally the same level as a shop.

Kabuki-cho at Shinjuku

It is Kabukicho of Shinjuku, Tokyo that is world eminent busy streets.
There are a lot of restaurants, manners and customs shop, a movie theater, a theater, a bowling alley,a game center.
From a young person to an elderly person, a lot of sightseeing bureaus from the foreign countries comes.
It is always crowded very hard now because it is a year-end party season.

Baseball Asia preliminary

It is update for the first time in one week.
For three days until yesterday, an Asian preliminary of the baseball for　Beijing Olympics　were performedthe at Taizhong.

Cocoon Building at Shinjuku

It is the photograph took from the 30th floor of high-rise building of the west exit of Shinjuku.A bottom is the west exit of Shinjuku Station.
The tower which you see earlier is NTT DoCoMo Building of Yoyogi.An interesting-shaped building is built now at West exit here.It is the building which a futuristic image assumes with its oval shape.


Its name is "Cocoon Building".

Many　Japanese like to eat food served in pot at winter.
You put a pan on the dining table and put some fishes, vegetables and meat in the pot, and eat directly.Because whole family surrounds the pan,you'll get communication to your family.

It becomes the news that Armani Ginza tower opened at 8 November.It becomes tallest buildings in Ginza at 12 stories.
Fashon stores ,restaurant, an interior shop and the spa are in there, too.
The special feature program is made on TV, too and attracts attention very much.

Byodoin Temple at Kyoto,Uji

I went to Kyoto last day.
When you go to Kyoto in Japan,
if you take JR Nara line about 20 minutes,you can go to Byodoin Temple.
Byodoin features the most beautiful of Japan's few remaining Pure Land Gardens.
It is Jodo style landscape garden.

It is one of Japan's most famous temple buildings and depicted on the 10 Yen coin and it was placed on the World Heritage List in 1994 by UNESCO.
The Amida Hall is called as the Phoenix Hall (Hou-do),
because phoenix seems to spread its wings.
You can also see one to one phoenix images on the top of Phoenix hall.
Until last september(2004-2007),the restoration construction for the Phoenix Hall (Hou-do) was performed.
At Hoshokan,next to Phoenix Hall (Hou-do),now you may see an old days of Phoenix Hall with computer graphic,that are so colorful and beautiful.

Uji city is quiet and I recommend Uji for a calm place.

An exhibition is held in a national museum of Ueno,tokyo.

It is about Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu who was the general of the Japanese age of civil strife.

This family is very famous.
Almost Japanese is familiar.
You can see a work of art and personal ornaments, a sword-katana, arms for shogun .


There are more than 300 items.
Anyway, it is very crowded.
