The deep-discount supermarket called "Donkihoute(Don Quixote)" is outstanding in this area.
The store's interior is made a chaotic feeling on purpose,
The articles are arranged to a big pile.
POP is set up so that it is difficult to look for space becoming vacant.
Because ther are many foreigners in a visitor,in this shop, a mysterious atmosphere feels.

Byodoin Temple at Kyoto,Uji

I went to Kyoto last day.
When you go to Kyoto in Japan,
if you take JR Nara line about 20 minutes,you can go to Byodoin Temple.
Byodoin features the most beautiful of Japan's few remaining Pure Land Gardens.
It is Jodo style landscape garden.

It is one of Japan's most famous temple buildings and depicted on the 10 Yen coin and it was placed on the World Heritage List in 1994 by UNESCO.
The Amida Hall is called as the Phoenix Hall (Hou-do),
because phoenix seems to spread its wings.
You can also see one to one phoenix images on the top of Phoenix hall.
Until last september(2004-2007),the restoration construction for the Phoenix Hall (Hou-do) was performed.
At Hoshokan,next to Phoenix Hall (Hou-do),now you may see an old days of Phoenix Hall with computer graphic,that are so colorful and beautiful.

Uji city is quiet and I recommend Uji for a calm place.

Tokugawa exhibition in Tokyo

An exhibition is held in a national museum of Ueno,tokyo.

It is about Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu who was the general of the Japanese age of civil strife.

This family is very famous.
Almost Japanese is familiar.
You can see a work of art and personal ornaments, a sword-katana, arms for shogun .


There are more than 300 items.
Anyway, it is very crowded.

The exhibition is held until December 2nd,2007.
